The Current Plan

I have pivoted this Substack to be a space for publishing sonnets. The Elegy of Mary Sue sonnets can be read individually, or as one long poem. They have the same speaker, and are always to the same titular person. Mary Sue is the speaker’s daughter who was born in 1969, and died in a car crash in 1985. The setting is Fayetteville, Arkansas and the surrounding area.
